  • This is the most winning car in the history of NSCC, with James rarely being off the podium at the end of the season.  The '68 Cortina Estate has a 3.9 litre Rover engine, equipped with one of James' home-brewed Megasquirt fuel injection system and a healthy shot of nitrous.  Transmission is a Rover 5-speed manual, mated to a narrowed 9" Ford axle and some seriously fat tyres at the rear.  It's kind of Pro-Street meets Rat Rod, but boy does it work!

James' car is always driven to both the shows and the track, seldom falling out of competition for breakages.  The car has plenty of home-grown technology built into it, including programmable nitrous injection, rev limiter and traction control....all hidden underneath a rattle-can paint job!
