National Street Car Challenge (UK)

Welcome to NSCC.INFO

The NSCC 2018 AGM and prizegiving was held in Blackpool in February. The calendar and rules for the 2018 season were discussed. With York and Shakespeare County very much in limbo the 2018 race season isn't going to be an easy one.
The racers voted to attend the few Straightliners events available to us as we are able to race. The April meeting has a STRICT 105dB limit.

Discussion on Facebook on the Hot Rod Gazette group and a little bit on Rods'n'Sods forum.

The National Street Car Challenge is the UK's premiere street and strip series for the rod and custom scene running since 1996. Score points for races, cruises and shows.

Whether your car is a 9-second car or a 19-second car, cost twenty grand or twenty quid, bring it out and have some fun with the friendliest, most laid-back competition in Britain. You may join in at any time during the season and attend as many or few events as you like. If it has MOT and tax and you are prepared to have some fun with it, you're in!

All races are held under IOPD permit.

How to enter
Contact Shaun for a form or alternatively just turn up and register on the day at any of the events.

2018 Entry form PDF download.
2018 Rule book and calendar PDF download .

Registration costs ten pounds to cover administration.

Race paperwork

To race at York you will need to be a PDRC member and have an IOPD race license. (Unless you are a member of APIRA or SPRC and have an MSA license - these are recognised at York.)

To race at straightliners events an IOPD race license is required.

PDRC membership form.

IOPD license form.

It is strongly suggested that these are completed in advance of race day to save queuing, one cheque is required per form.
